I asked for more fitting decor to my suite. He decided to provide me with an old photograph.

I do not know.

It is precious to me. I was not prepared to receive it.

[Which may explain why Widowmaker was more distant than normal the latter half of August.]

They have that tendency but it sounds like you've gotten used to making sure they give you want you want.

It's times like this where I wish I had the capacity for anger. Instead of just irritation.

[There were a few very long minutes before Widowmaker replied. Thankfully this had been over the tomes via written word and not the crystal as the look on the sniper's face as she read Wanda's message would have revealed she wasn't nearly as emotionless as she claimed to be.]

That would be a very bad idea.

[The lines scratching out those words were heavy and quickly placed, but it's possible Wanda caught them in the moment before they were rendered illegible.]

[It doesn't take more than ten minutes for Widowmaker to hear a soft knock on her door.]

[Widowmaker simply called out to Wanda, choosing not to move from where she was at her window. Wearing a white satin robe, hair down, the spider had a glass of wine in her hand and her gaze firmly planted on the mist laden view outdoors. She couldn't -see- anything through the fog, but that didn't seem to matter.

Her room was still somewhat sparse (for her) with a couple excellently crafted wardrobes on one side, a vanity with a mirror on the other, a couple mostly empty bookshelves, and a small collection of wine bottles on a small table by a chaise lounge. Some of the bottles had been opened but most were sealed. Her four poster bed had dark purple drapery about it, though they were tied back at each corner, and a bedside table had a lit candelabra... and a picture frame laid face down upon it.]

[When Wanda steps inside, Widowmaker might notice that she's already completely naked, except for the necklace that's looped delicately around her throat. It hadn't been a long walk to Widowmaker's room but Wanda had trailed the path wearing nothing but the spiders gift.

Bare feet whisper across the floor as she steps to Widowmaker's side and drapes her arms around her shoulders.

Wanda nibbles at the woman's ear while pressing her body against the thin robe.] How is this to help you forget?

[Upon reaching Widowmaker, Wanda would notice the same high tech dangerous looking rifle from that one dream leaning against the wall by the window. One might wonder why she had it by the window, but it hadn't been fired on castle grounds; it would draw too much attention.

Finding Wanda clad in nothing but a spider's web was definitely distracting and certainly a step in the right direction. Too much whirled in Widowmaker's mind right then, too much push and pull between her protocols and what emotions she could feel.]

A start. [Widowmaker turned toward Wanda, free hand trailing up her bare body to cup the pendant in her plan.] This looks good on you, minette.
